Outdoor First Aid (1 day)

Outdoor First Aid Emergency Action  A 1-day  course covering basic life support in the outdoor context.  8 hours of contextualised training.

ITC Certificate in Outdoor First Aid

The outdoor environment nearly always means that the casualty has to be looked after for a longer timescale than is typical in a more urban setting. First Aid Outdoor courses look at how to manage the situation when the ambulance does not turn up in 10 minutes time and are appropriate if your work or leisure place is remote. This qualification will keep most NGB Outdoor Instructor awards valid.

Delivery

The course will be delivered by one of our experienced professional trainers who have an active interest in First Aid in addition to being genuine outdoor enthusiasts. Our trainers understand the specific needs of various outdoor environments and are constantly updating their methods and materials to keep abreast of current best practice from around the world. Trainers will relate the course activities to your specific workplace whilst also following Health and Safety Executive approved code of practice guidelines.
